Configuring macOS Gatekeeper & App Permissions

macOS utilize strict sandbox frameworks to prevent unauthorized execution. Retail security suites require explicit permissions to function:

Enabling Full Disk Access

To audit background folders for threat blocks, macOS requires that you grant Full Disk Access to the antivirus. Go to: System Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Full Disk Access, and toggle the switch next to your security brand's helper application.

Enabling System Extensions

If your antivirus fails to scan network connections, check if the system extension was blocked. Open Privacy & Security settings, scroll down, and select "Allow" next to the brand's software extension alert.
